MICRONEEDLING with exosomes
A multipurpose treatment that uses your skin’s natural healing abilities to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
ABOUT microneedling with exosomes
At Skin Body & Soul Med Studio, we have chosen to use the Collagen P.I.N. It is an FDA-cleared microneedling device. The results are truly unmatched and deliver superior benefits through the use of the disposable 36-needle arrangement of medical-grade stainless steel sterilized needles. This device allows your aesthetic nurse to choose the depth for optimal penetration reducing irritation and discomfort and allowing for more rapid results.
In conjunction with the microneedling, exosomes are applied to increase and speed up the results.
wHAT device is used
The exosomes are applied topically to the skin and then injected into the skin during the microneedling procedure. The Collagen P.I.N. is used to puncture the skin creating micro-injuries and allowing the exosomes a way to get into the skin. This damage to the skin and the exosomes help to stimulate your skin’s healing process, increasing production of collagen and elastin, two crucial proteins for skin health. The treatment aims to smooth, tone, and firm the skin, as well as reduce the appearance of acne scars and stretchmarks. The end result is brighter, healthier, and tighter skin.
how it works
Microneedling with the Collagen P.I.N. is a minimally invasive procedure with very little downtime. Each treatment takes as little as 30-minutes. At your visit, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed, and a topical numbing agent will be applied. Most patients will feeling little-to-no pain at all. Immediately after treatment, your skin may appear pink or red resembling a sunburn. Minor bleeding and edema may occur depending on the depth of treatment.
While you can return to your normal routine immediately after the procedure, your skin may feel warm, tight, and possibly itchy; however, this should subside in 12-48 hours. It is important to refrain from any sweaty exercise or sun exposure for 72 hours post procedure.

Microneedling results vary based on the area being treated, the needle depth chosen by your aesthetic nurse and your individual skin health. Most patients start seeing results within the first month. For better, lasting results, a series of treatments is usually recommended as well as combination therapy such as skincare.
